For the start of the 2024 academic year, the university, on the initiative of the student association L'Ordre du Phénix, and Cinéma LUX are offering you the chance to see Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (VF). We hope you'll have a quieter start to the new school year than Harry! Rest assured, no trolls have yet been reported in the university toilets...
See you outdoors on Campus 2. The screening will be preceded by a DVD swap (bring your old DVDs and swap them for new ones) and a cinema poster sale.
Synopsis
Harry Potter, a young orphan, is brought up by his hated Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia. When he was three apples high, they told him that his parents had died in a car accident. On his eleventh birthday, Harry received an unexpected visit from a gigantic man called Rubeus Hagrid. The man reveals that he is in fact the son of two powerful wizards and that he too possesses extraordinary powers. The boy happily accepts a place at the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At last, he has the chance to make friends. Blamed by Professor Severus Snape, who teaches him Potions, and protected by Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of the school, Harry will try to solve the mystery of the Philosopher's Stone.
